My normal tyre was the Gravelking SK and was recommended to use the X1 by a friend.
It rolls so much faster but has more grip than the SK. A win straight away.
Very easy to set up tubeless, went on first time with no effort.
I use the 45C, perfect width for me, offering comfort and control but still rolls really well.

Ran the 50mm for the gralloch uci race. Completely bulletproof and ran really well at 30 psi. I had full confidence in them which let me concentrate on racing rather than worrying about puncturing. Recommend 100%
Best tyres EVER!
Good tyres but took an age to get on the rims of my Hunt 35’s. Lots of swearing and broken tyre levers.
Great grip and puncture resistance.
Only thing I noticed out-of-the-box was where the tyre had been folded for packaging, there was a significant crease in one of the two tyres that does look like it has weakened the side wall and thus more prone to premature splitting/bulging. Didn't send it back as needed tyres for a trip to the Cairngorms. Otherwise excellent grippy tyres on loose/wet cat 2/3 gravel.

I've been riding gravelking slick and sk tyres in the 'plus' version for years and I've always loved how compliant the sidewalls are. I was expecting this tyre to be the same but found out the sidewall is way -way- stiffer. The result is that for the same ride feel I've had to drop the pressure a lot. I ride the 35mm version and with the slick and sk tyres, I would run 2.75 bar (39 psi) front and 3 bar (43.5 psi) rear. Now I dropped it to 2 bar (29 psi) front and 2.5 bar (36 psi) rear. To be honest, I would prefer 1.8-1.9 (26-27 psi) bar on the front but I don't want to risk going that low.
Other than that: great tyre so far. Obviously with 35's I'm not riding monster gravel, but these tyres handle everything I've thrown at them perfectly. Oh, and they are very smooth on asphalt!

Four days into the Roam Scotland Rally and the 45mm rolling well on the road & gripping on the gravel. Bomb proof on descents. At full inflation 50psi I didn’t have clearance but fine at 44 psi or less.
I'm going for the second time to ride my bike through Patagonia. I researched a lot and chose the Panaracer Gravelking X1 Plus as the best tire for this adventure.
